they will all be made up on Friday. Monday will start Math and 4th grade science will be 4/25 and 4/27
Election Day -
o The main door (door #2) will be used as a voter entrance - there will be a movable wall to
confine voters to the gym
o If a voter needs to go to the restroom, they will be escorted to the office bathroom
o The lobby will be covered by Ms. Crits, Mrs. Neuman, and Mrs. Hunter
o Mr. Winkle has no meetings that day, so he will be around to keep an eye on things
o The Voting Board has accepted this plan and has been easy to work with
o Mr. Winkle is working with folks regarding the people who are outside handing out pamphlets
to make sure they are away from the students
o We will be moving parent pick up to where parent drop off is typically (just for this day -
although it may change in the future). The kids will be in the pod after school instead of the
music room
o The upper parking lot will be blocked off so the students can safely use the playground
o Dr. Dietrich and Dr. Santoro will be visiting schools that day that are election sites
Teacher Representative - Mr. Coulter
o Mrs. Hannig -
Wanted to remind folks about the author visit on May 12th. There are autographed books
available for purchase.
The literacy and art night will occur that night. There will be students artwork and writing
pieces displayed and a book swap.
We could use more volunteers - Shannon will be sending out a signup genius. A lot of help
is needed (typically in the days prior) to hang students writing and art work.
o Ms. Crits wanted to communicate that she was really proud of the 6th graders - they worked really
hard at the PSSA's.
o Mr. Coutler thanked H&S for the Harleysville Book Store credit. He wanted to know what
happened if they go over their designated credit. Laura and Sue were ok with going over, as long as
it was a reasonable amount.
